Meet The Staff

We believe that great work starts with great people. Our staff is a group of passionate, talented, and dedicated individuals who bring their unique skills and personalities to everything we do. 

Dr. Tyler has been practicing as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine since he graduated from Arizona's Midwestern University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020, but has been working with animals since he was 15.

His special interests include exotics, internal medicine, and emergency and critical care.

He loves all dogs, but especially Dobermans. His other favorite animals include Elephants and Screech Owls. His hobbies outside of work include spending time with his daughter, working on cars, collecting comic books, and gardening. 

Fun Facts: His go-to drink order is a Starbucks peppermint mocha, his favorite food is Home Run Inn cheese pizza, and he used to race cars competitively!

Kara received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Harrison College and has been working with animals for about 20 years. 

Kara is our sales representative liaison and our ambulatory services coordinator, and handles our scheduling and organizing of all things farm and large animal!

Her favorite animals are Greyhounds, Malinois, and horses, and in her free time, she loves to show them. Her hobbies outside of work include participating in rodeos and causing chaos!                                                                                             

Fun Facts: Her go-to drink order is a double whiskey on the rocks, and her favorite food is pizza with LOTS of cheese

Alena received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Fox College and has been working with animals for about 16 years. 

Alena is our IDEXX specialist; she handles all of our laboratory needs and is also our safety officer for the clinic.

Her favorite animals are cats, dogs, and beavers! Her hobbies include camping, fishing, crafting, and gardening.                                                                                                                   

Fun Facts: Alena's favorite drink is a large McDonald's Diet Coke, and her favorite foods are EVERYTHING!

Lily is our office manager and a veterinary assistant. She is currently enrolled in San Juan College's online program for Veterinary Technology, and has been working with animals for about 12 years. 

Lily also runs our social media. If you've ever messaged or emailed the clinic, you've probably talked to her!

She loves cats, chihuahuas, and panda bears, and her hobbies include spending time with her pets, listening to music, playing guitar, and watching horror movies.

Fun Facts: Her go-to drink order is a Starbucks hot chai latte, and her favorite food is anything potato-based

Tj Is one of our assistants, and has been working with animals for about 14 years. 

Tj is our head of IT and maintenance. He helps fix anything around the clinic that needs it. 

His favorite animals are foxes, and his hobbies include cooking and playing video games!

Fun Facts: his favorite drink is an old-fashioned, and his favorite food is a dry aged new york strip steak - YUM!

Andy is one of our veterinary assistants. She went to Purdue University and received degrees in biology and psychology. She has been working with animals for about 20 years.

Andy is our surgery lead and shelter liaison. She makes sure we follow gold standard protocols for surgeries, and works with rescues for their wellness and spay and neuter needs!

She loves cats, terriers, and older dogs, as well as special needs pets. She also loves opossums. In her free time, she likes to bake, listen to music, and she likes photography!

Fun Facts: Andy's go-to drinks are vanilla lattes and energy drinks, and her favorite foods are all things potatoes!

Tracy is one of our assistants. She has been working with animals for 33 years. Tracy LOVES school and has degrees and certifications in massage therapy, sound healing, nutrition coaching, echocardiograms, cosmetology, and interior design! 

Tracy is our clinic pharmacist and also handles quality control. 

She loves chihuahuas (the spicier the better), and alpacas. Her hobbies include being outdoors, hiking, camping, music, reading, and writing. 

Fun Facts: Her go-to drink is a non-dairy chai latte, or an IPA, and her favorite types of foods are Mexican and Thai, bring on the spice!

Liz is our client communications specialist.  She makes sure we answer all our messages, handles all our reminders, and is a friendly face at the front desk when you walk in!

MVC is Liz's first job in veterinary medicine, but she has previously worked in dental assisting for 15 years, and merchandising. Her daughter also works in veterinary medicine. 

Her favorite animals are cats, and her favorite hobby is traveling with her family. They have traveled to Greece, Italy, Alaska, Cabo, and St. Lucia, and have many more travels planned for the future! She also loves refurbishing furniture, and interior design. 

Fun Facts: Her go-to drink is a French vanilla cappucino, and her favorite type of food is Mexican food.

Rose is one of our receptionists and the newest member of our team!

Rose has been working in veterinary medicine for 25 years and is an expert at all things reception!  Rose just started with us, and she fits in perfectly with our crew! We are so excited to have her with us! Say hello to her at the front desk at your next visit. 

Rose's favorite animals are dogs and cats, and she has 2 Great Pyrenees at home! Her hobbies include reading (she likes to read anything and everything!) and baking. 

Fun Facts: Her go-to drink is an unsweetened iced tea, and her favorite food is Mexican food.
