We believe that great work starts with great people. Behind every wagging tail and happy purr is a team that truly cares. Meet the hearts and hands that keep your pets healthy and loved!

Tyler Middleton, DVM

Dr. Tyler has been practicing as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine since graduating from Arizona's Midwestern University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. However, his passion for working with animals began at the age of 15. Dr. Tyler's special interests include exotics, internal medicine, and emergency and critical care. 


He loves all dogs, but especially Dobermans. His other favorite animals include elephants and screech owls. Outside of his veterinary duties, he enjoys spending quality time with his daughter, working on cars, collecting comic books, and gardening. 


Fun Facts: Dr. Tyler's go-to drink order is a Starbucks peppermint mocha, his favorite food is Home Run Inn cheese pizza, and he used to race cars competitively!

Registered Veterinary Technician- Kara

Kara received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Harrison College and has been working with animals for about 20 years. Along with working as an RVT, Kara serves as our sales representative liaison and ambulatory services coordinator, managing the scheduling and organization of all things farm and large animal. 


Her favorite animals include Greyhounds, Malinois, and horses, and in her free time, she enjoys showing them. Her Hobbies outside of work include participating in rodeos and causing chaos!


Fun Facts: Her go-to drink order is a double whiskey on the rocks, and her favorite food is pizza with LOTS of cheese.

Registered Veterinary Technician- Alena

Alena received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Fox College and has been working with animals for about 16 years. Alena is also our IDEXX specialist; she handles all our laboratory needs, and she serves as our clinic safety officer!


Her favorite animals include cats, dogs, and beavers! Outside of her role as a veterinary technician, her hobbies include camping, fishing, crafting, and gardening. 


Fun Facts: Alena's favorite drink is a large McDonald's Diet Coke, and her favorite foods are EVERYTHING!

Office Manager, Veterinary Assistant- Lily

Lily is our office manager and a veterinary assistant. She is currently enrolled in San Juan College's online program for Veterinary Technology, and has been working with animals for about 12 years. 


In addition to her roles in the clinic, Lily also manages our social media. If you've ever messaged or emailed the clinic, there's a good chance you've interacted with her!


Lily loves cats, chihuahuas, and panda bears. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her pets, listening to music, playing guitar, and watching horror movies.


Fun Facts: Her go-to drink order is a Starbucks hot chai latte, and her favorite food is anything potato-based.

Veterinary Assistant- TJ

Tj is one of our veterinary assistants and has been working with animals for about 14 years. 


TJ is also our head of IT and maintenance; he ensures that anything around the clinic that needs fixing is taken care of efficiently. As our resident technology guru, he has gained himself the nickname "I-TJ".


Tj's favorite animals are foxes, and in his free time, he enjoys cooking and playing video games! 


Fun Facts: His favorite drink is an old-fashioned, and his favorite food is a dry aged New York strip steak - YUM!

Veterinary Assistant-Andy

Andy is one of our dedicated veterinary assistants. She graduated from Purdue University with degrees in biology and psychology and has spent about 20 years working with animals. 


Andy is our surgery lead and shelter liaison. She ensures we adhere to gold standard protocols for surgeries and collaborates with rescues to meet their wellness and spay and neuter needs. 


Andy has a special love for cats, terriers, older dogs, and special needs pets, as well as a fondness for opossums. In her free time, she enjoys baking, listening to music, and photography. 


Fun Facts: Andy's go-to drinks are vanilla lattes and energy drinks, and she loves all things potato!

Veterinary Assistant, Pharmacist-Tracy

Tracy is one of our veterinary assistants and has been working with animals for 33 years. Tracy LOVES school and has earned degrees and certifications in massage therapy, sound healing, nutrition coaching, echocardiograms, cosmetology, and interior design! 


Tracy plays a crucial role as our clinic pharmacist and monitors quality control within our clinic. 


Tracy has a special fondness for chihuahuas (the spicier the better) and alpacas. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, listening to music, reading, and writing. 


Fun Facts: Her go-to drink is a non-dairy chai latte or an IPA, and her favorite types of foods are Mexican and Thai—bring on the spice!

Customer Service Representative-Liz

Liz is our client communications specialist and a key part of our team! She ensures that we answer all our messages, manages reminders, and greets you with a friendly smile at the front desk when you walk in! 


This role at MVC marks Liz's first job in veterinary medicine, although she brings with her 15 years of experience in dental assisting as well as merchandising.


Liz loves cats, and in her free time, she loves traveling with her family. They have explored beautiful destinations like Greece, Italy, Alaska, Cabo, and St. Lucia, with many more adventures planned ahead! Additionally, she enjoys refurbishing furniture and interior design. 


Fun Facts: Liz's go-to drink is a French vanilla cappuccino, and her favorite type of food is Mexican food.

Customer Service Representative- Rose

Rose is one of our receptionists and the newest member of our team! With 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine, she is an expert at all things reception. 


Rose just started with us, and she fits in perfectly with our crew! We are so excited to have her with us! Be sure to say hello to her at the front desk during your next visit.


Rose's favorite animals are dogs and cats, and she has 2 Great Pyrenees at home! She enjoys hobbies such as reading (she likes to read anything and everything!) and baking.


Fun Facts: Her go-to drink is an unsweetened iced tea, and her favorite food is Mexican food.
